How do I convince my ex that we need to get a divorce? It’s definitely over between us – how do I convince him?

If the potential cost of getting divorced is all that is stopping your husband moving forward, it’s worth considering the different ways you can get divorced. Read our guide on keeping the cost of divorce low (it might be helpful to forward this to your husband if you think that will help). If you think there are other reasons why he is stalling, for example, if he’s not emotionally ready, then you both need to deal with that first and allow him time to come to terms with the fact that the marriage is over. Please get in touch if you’d like any advice or help on this, it’s important not to rush the other person if they are not ready as this often leads to acrimony.
