When does my consent order come into force?

I have received a consent order but not my decree absolute. The consent order says

"IT IS ORDERED (BY CONSENT) (With effect from Dcecree Absolute):

The respondent shall pay..... Payments shall start on the date of this Order, and shall end on..."

So my question is, when does the consent order come in to effect and have to be paid, from the Decree Absolute, or the Consent Order, or only when both are in place?

Hi B, your consent order and the arrangements detailed within the consent order will come into effect when your Decree Absolute certificate is issued. I hope this is helpful.
