Getting divorced is a big emotional upheaval and so getting some help with the emotional journey is key. You’re best to separate the breakdown of the relationship and making arrangements for the divorce… so if you can, take a breath and grieve the relationship before moving on to make arrangements. If you need support then a therapist can be a great support ato help you resolve the relationship breakdown and part as friends.
