We decided to get divorced about 2 months ago, we both agree it's the best thing for us and our family and we have been handling the legal stuff together and it's been as okay as it can be.

We have 2 children, both school age, who have been amazing and we've spent a lot of time with them explaining everything as it happens.

The problem is, my parents are really unhappy with our decision to get divorced, they think that we haven't really tried hard enough to 'make it work for the kids'. It's so upsetting to not have their support, it's a hard enough process without feeling judged by my family on top of everything else.

I'm not sure what to do next :(
