How long does a no-fault divorce take in England? Any way I can speed it up?

Hi Nigel,
Thanks for reaching out to amicable. As of the introduction of No-fault divorce, in April 2022, it will take a minimum of 7 months for a divorce to be completed due to the 20-week 'cooling-off' period. The time a divorce will take will depend on multiple factors such as the court processing time and whether you will be applying for a consent order.
