How do I find a good forensic accountant to find potential hidden money as I’ve never had financial oversight of a complicated financial situation? During 28 years of marriage, my husband was the breadwinner (his wishes), and I raised the children who are now young adults. He has a very good salary package including tech shares. He’s now cut me off from marital finances and put me on a meagre subsistence allowance which doesn’t cover my living expenses. It also means that it’s difficult to appoint a lawyer, as I don’t have access to funds. I believe so as to avoid full oversight of our financial landscape - he has insisted that we can finalise our finances with the help of a financial advisor. Please advise as I believe he’s trying to establish maintenance at the lowest end based on the frugality he’s implemented, along with financial coercive control.
