My wife and I are seperating (we haven’t yet) she is transferring 103,000£ of the equity of the house to me which will give me a deposit for another house. And we are signing a tr1 to remove me from registry of our family home.
My solicitor is asking for evidence from a tax specialist as to whether she needs to submit this transfer to the hmrc or not. I’ve found conflicting info on the internet. Can you advise?
