I expected the emotional side of divorce to be hard but the amount of admin is honestly flooring me. Every time I think I’m on top of it there’s another form, another place I need to update my details, another decision I didn’t realise I had to make. Name change, bank stuff, bills, paperwork from years ago… it feels endless.
Is this just how it is or is there a better way to handle it all. I feel like I’m drowning in admin at the same time as trying to hold myself together.
