We never got married, but in every other sense of the word, we were married.
We brought a house together, had children, I've taken long period of time off work to care for our children whilst he continued to work. It's significantly impacted my career.
Now we are separating and I'm really worried about my rights, how does it all work legally if you never actually got married?
