Opps! I wasn't aware of the cooling off period with divorce me and my ex have been separated for years now, we were getting along fine so didn't rush into divorcing but he mentioned he thinks we should start the process.
Now I see there's a cooling off period and I feel a bit silly we didn't get started a bit sooner. Is there anything else vitally important to know when starting off the divorce process?
