This is our first Christmas since separating and I’m definitely overthinking presents. The kids will be with both of us over the holidays and I’m not sure how people usually handle it.
Do you coordinate gifts with your ex or just do your own thing? I don’t want to double up on things or make it feel competitive, but I also don’t want it to be awkward or stressful.
I’ve probably left it a bit late now to coordinate properly anyway, which feels very on brand for this year.
Would love to hear what’s worked for other people, especially in the first year.
