amicable is working with Channel4 on a ground-breaking new documentary series with Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry.

Grayson would like to speak to couples in the process of establishing new lives after a separation, with a particular interest in hearing from people parting on amicable terms. This will be part of a new series with Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry. For these films, Grayson is going to devise rites of passage ceremonies that will help British families process genuine milestones in their lives.

The series would like to celebrate the building of a positive future but also acknowledge the emotional and logistical complexity a separation can entail. While the ceremonial importance of marriage remains prominent, we get nearly no preparation for the emotional ritual of divorce.

This is a unique opportunity to take part in a ground-breaking series. If you currently going through a separation or have already done so and are interested in finding out more about the project please contact Sam: [email protected]. Any initial conversation would be confidential and for research purposes but also offer a chance to answer any questions you may have about the project.
