amicable's separation services are designed to help cohabiting couples or divorcing couples who are not ready to start their divorce but want to sort out how they will split their finances, amicably.  We offer various services which you can explore below. It's important to note that Separation Agreements, which can be used to document couples agreements are not automatically enforceable by the courts.

Our Joint Advice Consultation is a 60-minute session with an experienced Separation Specialist. The consultation will help you understand more about the divorce or separation process. It can be used to help you decide if amicable is the right service for both of you or to give joint information on the things a court looks at when deciding if a settlement is fair, to discuss issues stopping you from moving forward, or advice around children.

 Our Separation Agreement Service write-up service is designed to help cohabiting couples or couples who wish to separate before they divorce with dividing their finances and/or sorting out childcare arrangements. The service includes **a separation agreement**.

It is the right service for you if you need help agreeing on how to divide your finances and would like to document your agreement in a Separation Agreement.

Our Negotiation Plus with Separation Agreement is designed to help couples navigate the legal and financial journey of separating. It is the right service for you if you need help agreeing on how to divide your finances and would like to document your agreement in a Separation Agreement. 

You should use this service if you have complex assets, think you’ll need more than four sessions to discuss arrangements or have emotional complexity that requires additional support for you or your partner with one-to-one telephone support. Complex assets include three or more properties (including part ownership or overseas property), or a business to divide/discuss or overseas assets or assets over £2M.
