  • Total agreement - couples in total agreement about how to separate their finances
  • Simple assets - you have simple assets if you do not have any of the following: more than two properties, a business, assets abroad, or total assets over £2M. If this doesn’t apply to you, please use our Assisted Service
  • Simple circumstances - this includes a range of factors, to understand more about whether your agreement is simple, book a free 15-minute consultation
  • Digital service - you prefer using an automated digital platform without guidance from a Divorce Specialist. A Divorce Specialist can guide you through the process, answer your questions and review your agreement

    • Separate communications - as we are a couples’ service, you will need to be able to communicate with each other to provide your financial information and make decisions about your agreement

    Who is amicable?

    How is amicable different to using solicitors and mediation?

    Unlike traditional solicitors, we take a unique approach by working with both partners. We offer fixed, transparent fees that include VAT and provide flexible payment plans, allowing couples to spread costs over several months. Unlike mediation, we support couples in reaching agreements, as well as preparing all the legal documents and managing the court process. Our specialists are trained in helping couples navigate the legal and emotional journey of divorce and separation.

    How long does it take?

    Divorce takes a minimum of eight months to complete, with services which include a consent order taking longer.

    What happens if we can’t reach agreement?

    amicable has a 95% success rate for helping couples to reach a financial agreement through our Negotiation Services.
