Negotiation Service

If you’ve separated from your partner, you’ll need to work out how you plan on separating your finances. This includes dividing any money, property, pensions, and debt.

You will also need to go through the legal steps to get divorced and make your financial arrangements legally binding through a consent order to end the possibility of future claims (a ‘clean break’).

Our Negotiation Service is for couples who need help agreeing and have simple circumstances or assets*.

*Simple assets include up to two properties (even if you only partly own them or they are overseas). They don't include business or overseas assets and their total value must be under £2M.

For parents, we also offer a Separating with Children Service.
