What is a cohabitation agreement?

A cohabitation agreement, also called a ‘living together agreement’, documents arrangements between a couple who are living together, providing protection now and in the future. A cohabitation agreement can be established at any relationship stage, whether you’re just moving in together or have lived together for years already.

How is amicable different to using solicitors and mediation?

Unlike solicitors, amicable works with couples together to avoid miscommunication and unnecessary conflict. We’re different from mediation because we can also manage the legal process.

How long does it take?

A cohabitation agreement will take around one to two weeks to prepare once the required information has been provided.
